What does it mean to be submissive?
It is not an artificial show; it is about a state of heart. To be submissive means to consider oneself inferior, to consider others superior, and not to be blinded by materialistic conception. Arjuna was a great warrior, great king, intimate friend of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. But Krishna did not speak to him until he felt himself to be the most insignificant. When you feel yourself insignificant, you become submissive, that’s the beginning.
Bhakti and humility can never be separated from each other just like sweetness can never be separated from sugar and liquidity can never be separated from water. They are constitutionally inseparable in nature.

"When Krsna begins His magical flute playing, it is described here that different living entities respond differently. Here the peacocks are described. When the peacocks hear Lord Krsna's flute they become inspired to dance. They surround Him at that time in such an ecstasy that their sense of perception fails them. They think that Krsna is a rain cloud because waves of bluish color emanate from Him. When Radha and Krsna go together through the forest of Vrndavana, Krsna has an emerald-like blue color which emanates from Him and Radharani has a yellow-like lightning color. So the two colors mix and the whole forest looks greener than green. The forest is lit up by Radha and Krsna's combined effulgence. But when Krsna is alone the peacocks dance, thinking that He is a monsoon cloud since so much blue is radiating from Him. Krsna jumps and sways when He dances so the peacocks surround Him in a circle and think that His swaying dhoti is a flash of lightning.
Soon they find out that it is Krsna who is playing His flute and so one peacock steps out and thinks, 'I have nothing valuable to offer to Krsna who played the flute so nicely, but let me offer Him a peacock feather from my own tail.' Krsna is very, very appreciative of even the smallest service that is rendered to Him. If someone offers you something and you respect the person who makes the offering, what will you do? With a gesture of respect you will accept and place the offering to your forehead in gratitude. So similarly, Krsna takes the feather and places it on the topknot of His turban and then later when Mother Yasoda understands that Krsna wants to keep the feathers, she fastens it with two gold chains so that it will not waver and fall." In Jhansi, Prabhupada had told Acharya Prabhakar. “I met you because I saw you in a dream and I knew that I was supposed to come here.” Prabhupada and he would do bhajan together. They’d hold Rathayatra festivals and they’d have programs in villages in the area.
Srila Prabhupada’s frist disciple – Acharya Prabhakar Misra was a very respectable Sanskrit scholar and teacher, who held a MA and PhD title. A reliable source.
Acharya Prabhakar said that on Shri Krishna Janmashtami in 1954, he had to go to Delhi. When he returned to Jhansi, he took a little rest, woke up at 1:00 am and heard Shrila Prabhupada ecstatically playing mridanga in the temple room. Prabhupada was chanting in total bliss.
Acharya Prabhakar went upstairs and saw Shrila Prabhupada bouncing around the temple room performing kirtan. Prabhupada was wearing a kadamba flower garland that went all the way down to his feet. Kadamba flowers are very rare in Jhansi and when they are available they are usually the size of a golf ball.
But the ones Prabhupada was wearing were big, the size of tennis balls. And he said that the atmosphere right down to the atoms in the room was not material, aprakrita. The place was surcharged with the fragrance of the heavenly planets.
Acharya Prabhakar wanted to ask Shrila Prabhupada, “Where did this garland come from? It is not available from the market.” But Shrila Prabhupada would not answer. His Divine Grace just kept on performing kirtan, bouncing round the room and chanting. The next morning Acharya Prabhakar asked Shrila Prabhupada, “Where did you get the garland, why did it have such a rich fragrance, and why were you feeling so blissful?”
Shrila Prabhupada told him, “I was chanting to Krishna and feeling some love for Him. And He appeared and gave me this garland. I went to touch His feet and He disappeared. Because of that I was dancing around the temple room.” Shrila Prabhupada was crying. Acharya Prabhakar was very believable and I felt that what he told me was valid. He also said that sometimes Shrila Prabhupada’s mood was to perform kirtan intensely. He would chant on and on and on for three days straight.

How Lord Nrsingha saves a little girl in a car accident

Now allow me to tell a true story that happened some 10 years ago in South-Africa. The father and the daughter who experienced this event told this story to my friend, a sannyasi and devotee of Lord Nrisimhadev.
This stories was also found in the newspapers, and several witnesses of this truck-accident after this incident became devotees of Lord Nrisimhadev.
This happened to a simple Vaishnav family that lives there. They had a back then 5 years old daughter. This girl was a great `fan' of Nrisimhadev – she found Him simply funny, as he looked half lion half man and felt very attracted to Him.
She often told her playmates about her favorite God, a lion – and the kids always wondered about what of God this could be… a lion.
What can a five years old girl know about God, she wasn't initiated, not even her parents, as far as I can remember.
The father of the family followed a guru and surely later accepted initiation. But there was a small Hindu-community they were in close touch with.
So, one day the girl was playing outside with her ball together with other kids, beside the street. The ball, how else could it be, fell on the street, and the girl ran after her precious ball. There was nearly no traffic, a rarely used country road. But this time a very fast truck came running down the road. The girl in her play didn't see the truck coming.
The father was in the first floor of the house and saw his baby girl running on the street – but he also saw the huge truck coming down, closer to his daughter with huge speed. The father yelled at her, but she didn't hear him. So he jumped out of the window of this first floor to save his daughter, and broke both his legs, when coming down, and remained laying on the ground in pain.
He had to watch how his little girl was hit by the truck and thrown through the air, some 20meter away. All children and neighbors around who observed this froze the blood.
The father later said his only desire when he saw this was to die. From the other direction came a police car that also witnessed the accident. The truck went on and the policeman stopped his car across the street to stop him. The truck-driver hardly stopped his truck and he seemed to be very drunk.
The policeman immediately called the ambulance and ran over to the motionless laying girl in the grass.
The closest hospital was a small private clinic and the ambulance came, but refused to take the girl, being afraid they wouldn't have the necessary devices and machines to help the injuries the girl must have. They advised the policeman to call the main hospital, as only they could efficiently help her, as her spine must be broken, etc.
The policeman was in despair, not even knowing where the father of the girl was. Actually he didn't even know if the girl was still alive, as he didn't dare to touch her, not knowing how injured she was.
However, in the end she was brought to a right hospital, the policeman accompanied the girl, and also finally the father there.
The chief-doctor heard then what has happened to the girl, and they immediately x-rayed her to see first results. The policeman wanted to rest assured how the girl was doing, and waited there to see the results. Everybody was shocked to hear what terrific accident had happened to the girl. So the nurse brought the x-ray pictures to the doctor, who became very upset and started yelling at the nurse she should for- God's- sake bring the right pictures, things were about death and life.
He threatened to fire her, as it was unacceptable to make such mistakes. The nurse was scared and didn't understand what was happening.
Those were the pictures of the five year old girl that was hit by the truck. The nurse wasn't aware yet of what had happened to the girl.
The doc said this cannot be – on the x-ray there was not a single broken bone. So, the doc all the time again and again repeated `impossible – can't be'.
Then suddenly the girl awoke from her faint and then told a story at ful consciousness which made its tour through the media.
In the moment she picked up the ball from the street, she saw the truck coming up to her. And the only thing she could do was to yell out for help. She didn't call for mommy or daddy, but for her Nrisimhadev. In this moment when the truck should hit her, she suddenly saw how Nrisimhadev picked her up from the ground, smiled at her, and said, `don't be afraid, nothing will happen to you'.
The girl continued her story that the Lord had put her on the other side of the street into the grass. But when putting her down, He accidentally scratched her waist, which still hurt her a bit.
She spoke about how beautiful Nrisimhadev was, His hair, His eyes, etc. But his claws were very sharp, He should cut them… he wore a golden dhotie, etc. The doctor didn't understand anything and told the policeman she still was in shock and hallucinated, which is normal.
So, the girl was profoundly checked for any injuries, but the only injury they found on her body were those scratches and the doctor said this must be from a wild animal like a lion, as he had cases like this before. So, he was disturbed and asked if they had brought the girl to hospital as this one was inured by a wild animal, not a truck…
Nobody was clear what had happened. The same doctor and the nurse who took care of her later became devotees, as they later learned from the parent who `that lion' was.
As we can see miracle still today happen. Not only in Mahabharata, Puranas or shastras that are more than thousands of years old.
The little girl was very attracted to this form of God, and in her despair she called Him for help. Lord Nrisimhadev did not look if she was initiated and have the right to call His name He protects His devotees, that sincerely worship Him in their hearts.
I am sure this little girl was no common soul, who knows what she did in her previous life. The sannyasi heard that she very much liked to eat sweets, and prepared a big plate full of sweets for her to rest assured she will not be able to eat it all up. He gave her the mounted plate of sweets, she took some of the sweets and ran out playing with her friends.
As soon as she was gone of the room, the sannyasi went over that plate and took the rest, as for him, this was the best maha-prasad available! Who last time has met Lord Nrisimhadev? Narada Muni maybe?? The girl for sure, and she must be a great soul.
Let's chant the holy names of the Lord, no matter which incarnation and being initiated or not. Which counts is bhakti – the love to the Lord, and sincerity in the heart. On the other hand, if sincere in spiritual life, one should not hesitate taking initiation – this is very important for making spiritual progress. Because only under the guidance of a sadhu one can reach God and return to His abode, the transcendental world.

The father later said his only desire when he saw this was to die. From the other direction came a police car that also witnessed the accident. The closest hospital was a small private clinic and the ambulance came, but refused to take the girl, being afraid they wouldn't have the necessary devices and machines to help the injuries the girl must have. They advised the policeman to call the main hospital, as only they could efficiently help her, as her spine must be broken, etc.
The policeman was in despair, not even knowing where the father of the girl was. Actually he didn't even know if the girl was still alive, as he didn't dare to touch her, not knowing how injured she was.

The chief-doctor heard then what has happened to the girl, and they immediately x-rayed her to see first results. He threatened to fire her, as it was unacceptable to make such mistakes. The nurse was scared and didn't understand what was happening.
Those were the pictures of the five year old girl that was hit by the truck. The nurse wasn't aware yet of what had happened to the girl.
The doc said this cannot be – on the x-ray there was not a single broken bone. So, the doc all the time again and again repeated `impossible – can't be'.
Then suddenly the girl awoke from her faint and then told a story at ful consciousness which made its tour through the media.
In the moment she picked up the ball from the street, she saw the truck coming up to her. And the only thing she could do was to yell out for help. She didn't call for mommy or daddy, but for her Nrisimhadev. In this moment when the truck should hit her, she suddenly saw how Nrisimhadev picked her up from the ground, smiled at her, and said, `don't be afraid, nothing will happen to you'.
The girl continued her story that the Lord had put her on the other side of the street into the grass. But when putting her down, He accidentally scratched her waist, which still hurt her a bit.
She spoke about how beautiful Nrisimhadev was, His hair, His eyes, etc. But his claws were very sharp, He should cut them… he wore a golden dhotie, etc. The doctor didn't understand anything and told the policeman she still was in shock and hallucinated, which is normal.
So, the girl was profoundly checked for any injuries, but the only injury they found on her body were those scratches and the doctor said this must be from a wild animal like a lion, as he had cases like this before. So, he was disturbed and asked if they had brought the girl to hospital as this one was inured by a wild animal, not a truck…
Nobody was clear what had happened. The same doctor and the nurse who took care of her later became devotees, as they later learned from the parent who `that lion' was.
As we can see miracle still today happen. Not only in Mahabharata, Puranas or shastras that are more than thousands of years old.
The little girl was very attracted to this form of God, and in her despair she called Him for help. Lord Nrisimhadev did not look if she was initiated and have the right to call His name He protects His devotees, that sincerely worship Him in their hearts.
I am sure this little girl was no common soul, who knows what she did in her previous life. The sannyasi heard that she very much liked to eat sweets, and prepared a big plate full of sweets for her to rest assured she will not be able to eat it all up. He gave her the mounted plate of sweets, she took some of the sweets and ran out playing with her friends.
As soon as she was gone of the room, the sannyasi went over that plate and took the rest, as for him, this was the best maha-prasad available! Who last time has met Lord Nrisimhadev? Narada Muni maybe?? The girl for sure, and she must be a great soul.
Let's chant the holy names of the Lord, no matter which incarnation and being initiated or not. Which counts is bhakti – the love to the Lord, and sincerity in the heart. On the other hand, if sincere in spiritual life, one should not hesitate taking initiation – this is very important for making spiritual progress. Because only under the guidance of a sadhu one can reach God and return to His abode, the transcendental world.
Cómo el Señor Nrsingha salva a una niña en un accidente de coche
hablado por Indrayumna Indradyumna Swami
Ahora quiero contar una historia real que ocurrió en Sudáfrica hace unos diez años. El padre y la hija que experimentó este evento contó esta historia a mi amigo, un sannyasi y devoto del Señor Nrisimhadev.
Esta historias también se encontró en los periódicos y varios testigos de este accidente de camión después de este incidente se convirtió en devotos del Señor Nrisimhadev.
Esto sucedió a una familia de Vaishnav simple que vivían allí. Tuvieron una hija que ahora tenía 5 años de edad. Esta chica fue un gran seguidora de Nrisimhadev – ella lo encontró a Él, simplemente curioso, al verlo mitad hombre y mitad León y se sintió muy atraída por Él.
A menudo decía a sus compañeros de juegos, acerca de su Dios favorito, un León, y los chicos siempre pregunta qué tipo de Dios podría ser Éste… un Dios León.
¿Qué puede una niña de cinco años saber acerca de Dios, ella no estaba iniciada, ni siquiera sus padres, según recuerdo.
El padre de la familia siguió a un gurú y seguramente más tarde aceptó iniciación. Pero hubo una pequeña comunidad hindú que estaban en estrecho contacto.
Así, un día la niña estaba jugando fuera con su pelota junto con otros niños, al lado de la calle. La pelota, ¿cómo suele suceder, cayó a la calle, y la chica corrió tras su preciado balón. Apenas en aquella calle circulaba el tráfico, una calle raramente utilizada. Pero ese día un camión muy rápido vino corriendo por el camino. La niña en su juego no vio la procedencia dell camión.
El padre estaba en el primer piso de la casa y vio a su niña que se distraía en la calle, pero él también vio al enorme camión bajando, que se acercaba cada vez más a su hija con gran velocidad. El padre gritó a ella, pero ella no lo oyó. Él saltó por la ventana de este primer piso para salvar a su hija y se rompió sus piernas, al caer y permaneció tendido en el suelo de dolor.
Pudo ver cómo su niña fue golpeada por el camión y arrojada por los aires, unos 20 metros de distancia. Todos los niños y vecinos alrededor de quienes observan se quedaron paralizados por el accidente.
El padre dijo más tarde que su único deseo cuando vio que se iba a morir. Desde la otra dirección llegó un coche de policía que también fue testigo del accidente. Salió el camión y el policía detuvo su coche en la calle para detenerlo. El conductor del camión apenas detuvo su camión y parecía estar muy borracho.
El policía inmediatamente llamó a la ambulancia y corrió hacia la niña que estaba inmóvil en la hierba.
El hospital más cercano era una pequeña clínica privada y la ambulancia llegó, pero se negó a tomar a la niña, por miedo de no tener las máquinas para ayudar a las lesiones de la niña debe tener los dispositivos necesarios. Aconsejaron a la policía llamar al hospital principal, como sólo ellos podían eficientemente ayudarla, como su columna vertebral debía estar rota, etc..

El jefe médico escuchó entonces lo que ha sucedido a la niña, e inmediatamente radiografió a ver los primeros resultados. El policía queriendo descansar aseguró lo que le había ocurrido a la chica y esperó allí para ver los resultados. Todo el mundo se sorprendió al escuchar qué increíble accidente ocurrido a la niña. La enfermera trajo las imágenes de los rayos x para que el médico lo viera, quien llegó a quedar muy molesto y comenzó a gritarle a la enfermera por Dios, traeme las imágenes de la derecha, las cosas era de vida o muerte.
Amenazó la electricidad, ya que era inaceptable cometer esos errores. La enfermera estaba asustada y no entendía lo que estaba sucediendo.
Estas son las fotos de la niña de cinco año que fue golpeado por el camión. La enfermera no era consciente aún de lo que había sucedido a la niña.
El doc dijo que esto no puede ser – en los rayos x se no se veía ni un solo roto huesos. Así, el doc repite todo el tiempo una y otra vez ' imposible: esto no puede ser '.
Luego de repente la chica despertó de su tenue conmoción y entonces dijo una historia en plena conciencia que hizo que llegara a través de los medios de comunicación.
En el momento que recogió el balón de la calle, vio el camión subir hacia ella. Y lo único que pudo hacer era gritar por ayuda. Ella no llamó a su Mamá o a su Papá, sino para a Su Amigo Nrisimhadev. En este momento cuando el camión la golpeó, de pronto vio cómo Nrisimhadev la recogió del suelo, le sonrió a ella y le dijo, 'no te asustes, no te va a pasar nada'.
La niña siguió su historia que el Señor le había puesto al otro lado de la calle en la hierba. Pero cuando le sofocó, él accidentalmente le arañó su cintura, que todavía le dolía un poco.
Habló sobre la belleza del Señor Nrisimhadev, Su cabello, Sus ojos, etc.. Pero sus garras fueron muy fuerte, él debe cortar… llevaba un dhoti dorado, etc.. El médico no entendía nada y le dijo al policía que ella aún estaba en estado de shock y alucinaba, que es normal.
Así, la chica fue profundamente marcada por las lesiones, pero la lesión encontradas en su cuerpo fueron los arañazos y el médico dijo estas se debían a un animal salvaje como un León, como no tenían casos como este antes. Por lo tanto, estando así de perturbado preguntó si había traído a la niña al hospital que había sido atacada por un animal salvaje, no un camión…
Nadie estaba seguro de lo que había sucedido. El mismo médico y la enfermera que cuidaban de ella más tarde se convirtieron en devotos, como más tarde aprendieron del padre quien era 'el León'.
Como podemos ver milagro que suceden aún hoy. No sólo en el Mahabharata, Puranas o shastras que tienen más de miles de años de antigüedad.
La niña estaba muy atraída por esta forma de Dios, y en su desesperación le pidió ayuda.
El Señor Nrisimhadev no miró si ella era iniciada y si tenian derecho a pronunciar Su nombre para que protegiera a Sus devotos, que sinceramente le adoran en sus corazones.
Estoy seguro de que esta niña no era un alma común, quién sabe lo que ella hizo en su vida anterior. El sannyasi oyó que le gustaba mucho comer dulces y preparó un gran plato lleno de dulces para ella y estaba seguro de que no sería capaz de comerselos todo. Ella vio la placa repleta de dulces, tomó algunas de las golosinas y acabó jugando con sus amigos.
Tan pronto como ella se fue de la sala, el sannyasi fue hacia placa y tomó el resto de dulces, como para él, este era la mejor maha-prasad disponible! ¿Cuando fue la última vez que el Señor Nrisimhadev nos ha reunido? Tal vez Narada Muni??? La chica, y ella debe ser una gran alma.
Vamos a cantan los nombres sagrados del Señor, no importa que Encarnación y poniendonos en marcha o no. Lo que cuenta es el bhakti: el amor a Dios y sinceridad en el corazón. Por otro lado, si es sincero en la vida espiritual, uno no debe vacilar en tomar iniciación: esto es muy importante para el progreso espiritual. Porque sólo bajo la orientación de un sadhu uno puede alcanzar a Dios y regresar a su residencia, el mundo trascendental.

Viajó a Río Narayani en el Himalaya tomando baño buscando orando por el darshan del Señor Caitanyas y Su misericordia y el rio Kali Gandaki es Srimati Tulsi Vrinda Devi y Silagram Silas donde ellos viven en este río (silas) comenzaron a llenar de agua la lota de Gopal Bhatta Gowamis y hubo 12 de ellos y Gopal Bhatta Goswami entiende que Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu quería que él adorara por lo que lo llevó con él y comenzó adorar....
